The project will include the construction of a two-storey extension and the comprehensive refurbishment of the existing Stables block, alongside improvements to the surrounding outdoor space at the school’s Whitegate Drive campus, part of the Sea View Trust. The development forms part of a wider investment programme to enhance educational facilities and support the delivery of high-quality learning opportunities.

 

Working in partnership with Cassidy+Ashton Architects, Building Surveyors & Town Planners, Singleton & Smart will deliver a 900 sq ft extension to The Stables building. The scheme will provide additional classrooms and breakout spaces, a new entrance area, improved ramp access, and the reconfiguration of the existing playground to complement the new layout and enhance accessibility.

 

Park Community Academy provides education for pupils aged 2–19 with a wide range of special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). The new facilities will create modern, fully accessible learning environments that support the learning, development and wellbeing of students.
